But in the hands of a seasoned surfer it'll come alive. Think of it as a shortboard with a little extra width in the nose but all the performance features to surf hard and fast. Torq TEC; Torq Epoxy Composite offers our user friendly performance shapes in our most advanced epoxy lay-up to date. Using a mix of plain weave fibres and Carbon, these boards offer the best strength to weight ratio on the market.
The all new torq TEC lay-up offers the same incredible durability with a new and improved flex pattern. The overall deck and rail lay-up is reduced to a 6oz and 4oz layer which allows the board much greater freedom of twist and flex. A 6oz deck patch ensures the same level of impact resistance, while the addition of a carbon filament stringer adds incredible longitudinal strength and response.
